The Biosense A1Chek-HbChek Test Strip are used with HbChek meters for quantitative measurements of hemoglobin in capillary and venous whole blood.

The measurement range of the Biosense HbChek meter is 0-25 g/dl

A1Chek-HbChek Test Strips are made from PMMA and contains no active ingredients.
The A1Chek-HbChek Test Strip works as both a pipette and measuring element.A Blood drop of 8uL is needed for measurement. This blood is drawn into the cavity by capillary action. The A1Chek-HbChek Test Strip then needs to be inserted into HbChek meter for hemoglobin measurement,The HbChek measures the absorbance of whole blood at Hb isosbestic point. HbChek meter uses two wavelength of light to calculate Hemoglobin level,user level calibration is not required.

How to Use:

Step 1 : Wash hands using soap and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Step 2 : Turn on the meter by pressing-releasing the power button.

Step 3 : Remove a A1Chek-HbChek Test Strip from the vial.

Step 4 : Prick a finger to obtain a blood sample.

Step 5 : Touch and hold the drop of blood to the pointed edge of HbChek Test Strip. The blood is drawn into the A1Chek-HbChek Test Strip by capillary action

Step 6 : Once the blood fills the A1Chek-HbChek Test Strip chamber.Insert the A1Chek-HbChek Test Strip into the HbChek meter.

Step 7 : Your Hemoglobin result will appear on the display window.

Step 8 : Remove the A1Chek-HbChek Test Strip from the meter and discard it. The meter will automatically turned off or long press power button to turn off.
